I'm reminded, when reading about this installation, of past ones I've attended. I also remember President Ronald W. Reagan's quote, "The scariest words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government, and I'm here to help.'" Also, Thomas Paine, in "Common Sense [1776]," wrote, "Society in every state is a blessing, but Government, even in its best state, is but a necessary evil; in its worst state, an intolerable one."

Dear Dolores,
It should be noted that Mayor Candace Andersen raised the bar on communications with neighborhoods and regained a glimmer of enthusiasm for the town of Danville from Diablo Vista region neighborhoods north of Diablo Road. During the last year there were fewer considerations of counsel actions by neighborhoods and neighbors hope the new mayor will continue such outreach and inclusion.
