Meetings begin to determine fate of Vets Hall

The new Veterans Building Steering Committee will meet for the first time at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 29, to begin planning the renovation or rebuilding of the Veterans Memorial Building in downtown Danville.

Let's see,

Mayor Andersen is quoted above as saying that after hiring an architect for the Vet's Hall, "Then we can decide, can we remodel, restore or do a renovation."

Can someone tell me what the difference is between "remodel" "restore" and "renovate" ???

Dear Editor,

Remodel is when one stops dating the first model and start dating a second model.

Restore is when a store fails and new store moves into the same space.

Renovate is when the first vate was not enough and no further vates are available.
