The mayors of the greater Tri-Valley—Danville, Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton and San Ramon—credited their unified approach to dealing with regional problems for major improvements in the outlook for transportation, air and water quality and state and federal assistance for projects that can benefit the area.

It is wonderful that the mayors of Danville, San Ramon, Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton can all get together, share information and solve transportation and traffic problems.
But where or where is Alamo in this article? We have no voice.

Dear Editor,
Iron Horse corridor neighbors in the greater Walnut Creek area including Alamo are asking for an explanation of why our area is considered part of Tri-Valley transportation planning. Tri-Valley residents predominantly used the 580 corridor and 680 south for access to commercial and recreational interests and have little reason for northern access via 680/24. This, according to a CalTRANS report, illustrates the issue of Tri-Valley residents using 680 North/24 as alternative routings and a significant needed role by the City of Walnut Creek in representing the impact on the 680/24 exchange among Tri-Valley governments.
