Becoming a Council Candidate if very becoming
Around Town, posted by Just me, a resident of another community, on Sep 25, 2008 at 10:30 am

Dear Alamo Ron,

Now here is our opportunity to nominate you for Town Council in the proposed Town of Alamo. California, that is!

From www.alamoinc.org:

Nomination period for Alamo town council

candidates opens – November 10, 2008

Nomination period for Alamo town council

candidates closes – December 5, 2008 - 5:00 pm

Election for Alamo incorporation and for town council - March 3, 2009

It is a great opportunity to operate fully independent of any of your neighbors and make all kinds of decisions without any obligation to public input. WE can only imagine your inventiveness.

Delight us, Ron, by becoming our candidate!

Just me

It seems Alamo Ron is busy so let me be Alamo Ron:

Tsk, Tsk, Just me, you once again have neglected to understand democracy.

Alamo leadership, for the good of one and all, is stepping forward to provide a strong slate of town council candidates to represent all of us as we define our city. We elect that council and they must listen to us in forming our government.

That's democracy, do you know?

Thanks Alamo Ron Pal,

Regrettably I'm getting a shampoo and rinse on both of those days.

Best,

Alamo Ron

Interesting, Alamo Ron,

Whilst you are getting a shampoo and rinse, the rest of us are getting hosed! Ah, but what the HAL, it's quicker. We do get by with a little help from our friends.

Could you actually imagine a world without humor even it it is tilting at the edge?

Just me
