Dear neighbors,

As we move into the campaign season and read all the letters by supporters of various candidates, we might wonder if we live in the same community or region described by such supporters. It seems every candidate and their supporters are very sure that they know exactly what we want and how to get it done.

As I read such campaign mailings, letters and quotes in articles, I am quite sure I am in the wrong place. I do not recognize the districts, communities and regions they're describing. I do not share the issues that are such great concerns. I don't even recognize the names of candidates and their supporters.

So, would you please page me, I would like to see if I am there? or even here, for that matter.

Paige in Tice Valley, Alamo

Dear Paige,

I just "paged" you and the response was, "Off-planet location - not within service area."

Perhaps this explains your befuddlement...

Cheers,

Alamo Ron
