DANVILLE PLANNING COMMISSION SCHEDULED TO VOTE ON DRAFT 2030 GENERAL PLAN TONIGHT
Around Town, posted by SOS-Danville, a resident of the Danville neighborhood, on Feb 12, 2013 at 8:58 am

The Danville Planning Commission is scheduled to vote on the draft 2030 General Plan tonight. Town Staff is recommending that the Commission circumvent the public's Measure S rights to vote on residential development of Danville's remaining 400 acres of Agricultural-designated land. Staff is also recommending that the Commission upzone Agricultural land to quadruple the amount of homes that may be built on such land. If passed by the Commission, and then by the Town Council, the 2030 General Plan will smooth the way for the approval of the SummerHill Homes project for Magee Ranch in the Diablo Road corridor.

THE MEETING IS AT 7:30, DANVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER, 420 FRONT STREET, IN FRONT OF THE LIBRARY. YOUR PRESENCE IS VITALLY IMPORTANT.

Any updates? I work in the evenings so I didn't go to the meeting.
