Help count the homeless
Comments on Stories, posted by Editor, Danville Weekly Online, on Jan 9, 2013 at 2:12 pm

Contra Costa County needs volunteers to help count the homeless on Wednesday, Jan. 30, beginning at 6 a.m. This activity helps the county assess needs and secure state and federal funds. A web-based form makes it easy for volunteers to sign up. Go to Web Link or call 313-6124. Volunteers must be 18 years old to volunteer and available one week prior to attend a one-hour orientation.

So--------volunteer to count homeless so our tax dollars go to this group? Perhaps we could round up possible illegals instead. Start at the Home Depots--

Has anyone seen the ABAG salaries? We even are stuck paying for THEIR "employee" share of retirement!! Maybe those worthless fat cats should be counting the "homeless" aka--street bums.

Ann is correct.

Our Country, Cities and County...leaders are brain dead.

Keep helping the folks that keep coming to the feeding trough and the line will get longer.

We are in a sad situation...give, give and give some more. Keep giving until the ones that give have nothing more left to give...and then what.

Thank you listening, Julia Pardini from Alamo

Julia -- why not put a counter on that lethal cane of yours, and whack'em? That'd really get all that warm, sweet milk of human kindness coursing through your veins.

Dirka says, I have too many goats that need milking to count homleless; besides, these are peoples that hide. Dirka says, love thy neighbor, even if he's poor and a mentally torchured soul, butydo not let them pee pee and poop in bad spots. Let's pay their cab fare to San Francisco. It's a good investment.

Say, Dirka -- are you kin to Bainter, the Painter?

I miss ol' Bainter.
