The Urban Farmers volunteers will pick your trees, leave what you want and bring the rest to local food pantries and animal centers. Learn more, register your trees, volunteer or tell a neighbor. Visit www.theurbanfarmers.org or email sustainabledanville@gmail.com for more information.

What a wonderful idea! My recently unemployed sister and her husband were offered a food basket this year from one of the same organizations they donated to for many years (my brother in law was diagnosed with a progressive brain disease and is no longer able to work). They didn't need it as we are capable of helping them out, but it is so great to see how this type of charitable organization supports their community.
