Livermore resident Jesse Serpa was arraigned in Pleasanton Wednesday afternoon and will return to court Friday to enter a plea, an Alameda County district attorney's spokeswoman said.

Go ahead and bury your heads in the sand folks, violent crime is increasing exponentially in the Tri-Valley area (ALL OVER REALLY) if you read the newspapers and police reports. Why you may ask? Well, first and foremost we have a population of underemployed and unskilled and more who keep pouring into this country and are hungry and desperate. When there are more people without jobs, crime will increase. Even the current spin doctor President can't solve it, nor can our local law enforcement. We won't have enough police to stop it in the very near future. Sorry to be so negative, but reality is a tough pill to swallow.

Sorry, Louise, but you are incorrect. According to the FBI, violent crime in our country decreased in 2011, for the fifth straight year. So, America is actually becoming safer.

Your paranoia is showing. It always amazes me how a certain group can take any subject and somehow turn it into an anti Obama rant. I know Dan, it's the UN, the black helicopters circling Danville with the jack booted government thugs coming to take your guns away. There really are very effective medications for this condition.

As between the two groups: Far Right and Everybody Else, there is only one that demonstrably inhabits an alternate reality, one that might be characterized as something like a Jonestown.
