A San Ramon man was sentenced Tuesday to nearly two years in federal prison after pleading guilty to tax evasion charges. Thomas Calise, 50, was sentenced to 21 months in prison and ordered to pay nearly a half-million dollars in restitution

I wonder why this man is in jail and some of the people who owe the Federal governemnt and the State of California huge sums of money for back taxes, such as Oakland's previous mayor Ron Dellums, remain free.
