The Supervisor's job description is the ISSUE!

Dear neighbors,

The choice of candidates in District 3, according to Lisa Vorderbrueggen's column in the Sunday Times, is not very important to district voters. There is a very excellent reason for disinterest.

Among the past three District 3 Supervisors, each conducted agendas separate from the interests of the district residents because it was allowed by their job description. Supervisors have powerful autonomy from any interests by Contra Costans and most supervisors for 20+ plus years have made decisions opposed by a majority of Contra Costans. Whether Supervisor Piepho continues her antagonistic disservice to District 3 or Guy Houston attempts consensus among the supervisors and residents, the result will be the same. The supervisors, as a board, will use their powerful autonomy to abuse District 3 neighborhoods.

There is little interest in city council races for the same reason. At the local level, and more focused on our neighborhoods, city council members use their autonomy in focused abuse of neighborhood character and property.

Let's redefine their job description!

Darren, in Alamo

Dear neighbors,

It would not matter what the job description was for a supervisor if you are discussing Mary Piepho. Her wrok-around, behind-closed-doors style is simply meant to avoid responsibility for being our representative. She is a tyrant and a dictator.

The rest of the Board of Supervisors are simply too incompetent to stop the abuses by Piepho and too connected to dirty laundry to ever be representative of anything but a handful of power-brokers.

RECALL them all,

Kevin
