County officials have identified oncord resident Brandon Rosevear, 18, as the first victim in Sunday morning's fiery crash that closed a portion of the roadway. Rosewear was the driver of the Nissan Maxima that struck another vehicle while headed southbound on Interstate 680 near the Crow Canyon Road exit.

I am so sorry for the family and friends that have been affected by this tragedy. Although, what in the world was he doing at 1:20 a.m. in the San Ramon area? I am sure that tiredness, alcohol, or both were involved and both could have been avoided. What a shame!

I love you brandon. i dont know what to do with out you id do anything to have you back. i think about you and miss you more and more as the days go on. i couldnt believe you have been gone a month. it seems like i was with you yesterday. love your little brother
