Best and worst YOUTH SPORTS PROGRAMS
Sports, posted by SportsMom, a resident of the Danville neighborhood, on Aug 1, 2012 at 10:12 am

We live in such a wonderful community rich with resources for a very rewarding sports career. We have seen several youth sports programs but are at a lost for which organizations to strive to get our children into and those to stay away from. Would you please share your opinions and experiences about the different sports leagues and clubs in the area? Thank you.

The Diablo Scorpion youth lacrosse program is AWESOME. My son played little league baseball for several years and had a good time. But after he joined the Scorpion program, he chose that over baseball. The total experience was great and he continued to play lacrosse during his 4 years at Monte Vista and now into college. The Scorpion program is well run, good coaches, good management, good quality fields. Of the youth lacrosse programs around the bay area, the Scorpion program is know as the gold standard.
