Local attorney pleads not guilty to possession of confidential information

A San Ramon family law attorney has pleaded not guilty to a charge that she illegally received confidential information, while her alleged co-conspirator, an Alameda County Sheriff's deputy, has been given time to find a lawyer. Court documents state Lesley Anne Regina, 36, received an email containing privileged information then forwarded that to an unnamed person.

The lawyer should be disbarred, the cop should be fired and lose his pension. Sure sounds a lot like the drunk driving sting last year.

In the drunk driving stings every man who got a DUI was actually drunk driving. Was that the woman's fault. Wives always know their husbands weaknesses. A kid shouldn't have to ride in that car.

I hear a common practice of family law lawyers is using a phone application named trap call to track people. If you believe you are a victim contact them and they can tell you the IP addresses and other identifying information to help you file a police report or restraining order.

Wonder if this Lesley will have it out with the California BAR?
