Event to benefit kids of fallen police officers, firefighters

The 3rd annual Fallen Heroes Celebrity Golf & Tennis Tournament & Tribute Dinner will be held Monday, June 11 at the Diablo Country Club, 1700 Clubhouse Road, Diablo. Hosted by the Police & Fire: The Fallen Heroes, a 501c (3) nonprofit, the proceeds will benefit the Scholarship Fund for the children of police officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty in California. For more information, call 837-4221.

Research THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB of Contra Costa County.

This organization has been quietly funding the daily lives and the tuition needs of families of fallen fire and police members since its original club founding in 1957.

The Contra Costa County Club was founded in 1984.
