Residents held at gunpoint during home robbery

Police continue to search for four suspects following a home invasion robbery in Walnut Creek early Monday morning. The suspects ran through the house looking for items to steal, exited through the garage, and loaded the stolen items into a vehicle before fleeing the scene.

The armed home invasion in Countrywood in Walnut Creek is rare for that area but the police did say that they had been called out to that residence before. The occupants had a lifestyle that we may not be fully informed about. I'll bet the robbers knew them somehow or there was some connection. How could 4 robbers randomly choose a condo to target in the middle of the night? They must have known there was something worth stealing in the first place as well.
