Enoch, 63, was recruited by the district after announcing his retirement at SRVUSD and was one of three finalists for the position. In an email to the Seattle school board, Enoch said he was not right for the job.

How fortunate for Seattle! Let's see, Enoch is retiring to spend more time with family...no wait, he's applied for a position in Seattle? What part doesn't smell right.
Hopefully our school board will find a person who cares about ALL of our schools and not just a select few. Hopefully our school board will find a person who will value our principals and not be dictated by politics. Hopefully our school board will find a person who will be committed to our district and stay for more than four years before "retiring"....
