I'd like to know why the San Ramon police didn't arrest the black women from Oakland who assaulted a 47 yr. old white mother and her two daughters; ages 12 and 14 a week ago Friday night at the Golden Skate rink? Not only did they not arrest them the didn't even bother to get their names!!!! While the girls were skating with two of their friends their cell phones and money were stolen. The mother began looking for the phones and asked the black women at the table next to theirs if they had seen anything and approximately 10 black women attacked them, one grabbing the eldest daughter by her hair and slamming her head into the table, threw her on the floor, kicked her and threw a chair on her. Other women attacked the mother and younger daughter, slugging them, throwing them on the floor and hitting them with objects. It was the D-Jay, not the manager or owner, Mr. Sharifi who came to their aid. Now Mr. Sharifi says the mother and daughters made too big a deal out of losing "$100" cell phones, (sorry they were "$400" cell phones), and that they are not allowed back! He says nothing about the black women who attacked them! why are these women, (and their families) coming from Oakland to bowl here bringing their crime and violence with them? I know the family that was assaulted and they are very nice people. The daughters are shy and not at all confrontational. We should boycott Golden Skate and let Mr. Sharifi know we will not tolerate this kind of behavior in our community.

I, too, am concerned with the violence that occured at Golden Skate but I don't know why we need to bring up the fact that accused attackers were black! Aren't we past that? If attacked this family, they are criminals whether they are black or white or any other color! Let's move forward into the 21st century!
