Older man tries to get middle school girl into his car twice this week

Walnut Creek police are looking for a man who tried to get a 13-year-old girl from Walnut Creek Intermediate school to get into his car twice this week. The suspect, described as a white male in his 60s, first approached the teen around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, as she got off her school bus near Tice Valley Boulevard and Crest Avenue

Wasn't there an older man in a red car doing similar things a year or two ago in Danville? He lived in the Cameo district and was offering kids stuffed animals? Because he never got them into his car, he was not charged?? I'm glad this girl is ok.

I really hope they catch this guy soon. It is very scary. I am very glad the little girl ran and is safe.
