Keeping on track in the community college path

In this week's [Web Link Doing College], expert admissions adviser Elizabeth LaScala answers a reader's question on the best way to keep focused on transferring to a 4-year university while attending community college and working part-time. Among LaScala's suggestions are: don't make community college an afterthought, go above your high school's graduation requirements and keep up your GPA.

Pretty much every senior knows by June checking the right ethnicity box will open more doors than a high non-minority GPA.
