City Council votes to cut hours at local watering-hole

The Walnut Creek City Council voted unanimously to deny an appeal from the owners of Lift Lounge and Grill that would have allowed the Locust Street business to continue operating until 12:30 a.m. Instead, the council voted to roll back the bar and grill's hours by one hour for the next 90 days, after which time the business owners may

re-apply to extend their hours.

If you can't go out and have a few drinks and dance, chat with friends and have a good time then stay home. None of the towns in the Tri-Valley want or need the "Jersey Shore" wannabe punks. If these bad a$$es want to test there manhood then go down to Richmond/Bay Point or Oakland find a bar or club and go for it.......the bar & club owners are trying to provide a fun spot for people to relax & enjoy and a few idiots are ruining it for everyone else.
