C'mon now, she's no worse that any other pandering politician. If you have problems with her then you must have problems with the rest of the politicians who represent us at the County, state and federal levels.
Either get off Mary's back or throw all the bums out!
And don't forget, not only is she a public servant, but I think her husband is too!

I would advise any politician that a vote lost could be the truth told. Self preservation tops any ethics rule. Greed and power has been and will be documented history for all eternity. It takes a special kind of person to change beliefs and values in the blink of an eye.

It is not coincidental that another posting shows up here that was originally posted from Oakley. The fact that the same people that have been booted from East County blogs and newspapers are trying to sling their mud here, outside of Mary Piepho’s district and their own, is the most telling of their frustration. I easily found the same 4 or so people blogging repetitively in desperation-no different from here. Try as they might, they just cannot seem to get any attention. The editors over there clearly are not putting up with their rhetoric.
Don’t take my word for it, You can see the story here Web Link and judge for yourself! Be sure to read the “comments” below the story.
“After a public hearing Tuesday, the Contra Costa Board of Supervisors adopted the redistricting plan it approved last month. Although Mary Piepho and Gayle Uilkema originally opposed the plan, Piepho changed her vote Tuesday, making Uilkema the sole dissenter in the 4-1 vote.”

Thank You Informed for backing up my statement !
She will change her stance in a second to advance her political career. She has shown this over and over by example of her moves and the amount of questionable actions this past years. Career politicians have put our Country Trillions in Debt and our County Millions in debt. As the one poster stated " Throw the bums out ". Changing your beliefs like the wind to head off criticism and gain votes is so phony. Politicians that present themselves like a chameleon looking good on the outside but bad for the average citizen on the inside need to go. This is the only way to get our government back to working for the people. I do not want a smooth talker as my County Supervisor. I need someone who will truly make my City a better place by action. Mary Piepho has not made a better place out of the old district. I do not think she will make a better place for Oakley or Antioch in the new district.

You actually think I backed up your statement? You better read my posting again. Sorry but not even close.
You said; “Piepho voted against Antioch and Oakley in her District”.
I posted fact (which is the opposite of what you said); "Piepho changed her vote Tuesday, making Uilkema the sole dissenter in the 4-1 vote.”
Reality check; Piepho did NOT vote agaist Antioch and Oakley in her District. Got it?
If you had followed the re-districting process at all you would have known that. You would have also known that it was a very fluid process and a lot of factors changed each and every week. In the end the maps were more plausible which likely lead to compromise. Then again that doesn’t help validate your take on things so I am sure it was best for you to ignore those realities.
You really do have a “special” take on things. From what I see here and on other blogs, no one really buys into your spin but you...
Anyone that followed up on the weblinks about re-districting saw that Piepho wanted to keep cities whole, which makes perfect sense. You are not getting any traction with your disingenuous innuendo and naïve assumptions.
Now it is time for me to call you on your next attempt at misinformation.
You wrote; “Career politicians have put our Country Trillions in Debt and our County Millions in debt. “ as just another attempt at discrediting.
The truth is while Piepho has been on the Board of Supervisors, the County Debt has decreased. This is another inconvenient FACT for you to swallow. Web Link
In fact during Piepho's tenure, the runaway spending has stopped and the debt has been cut in half. That is not smooth talking-it is fact. It comes as no surprise that since you have a problem with your facts. that I am sure it was lost on you. It is just one more example why you have so much trouble on these message boards and blogs.
Two last things for you to ponder. Next time you start a new posting you might want to check your grammar so that you don’t look so uneducated. You wrote; “Piepho addresses Antioch Rotary with a different toon” For the record it is; “Tune” not Toon.
And lastly, if you really do live in Oakley you need to look to your CITY council to make your city a better place, as the Board of Supervisors has an indirect responsibility for the City itself.

Geeeeesh Oakleyite, can you be anymore WRONG?
First of all, I am not “Bob”. I do read his posts too and respect what he has to say. He does a lot of research and obviously works well with local leaders. In turn he is working hard for his community. Therefore I thank you for the compliment.
For the record I know exactly who you are…but I digress, as it is not really important and you do a good job of exposing yourself.
Second, I did not back your statement because you specifically said; “Piepho voted against Antioch and Oakley in her District”, when the reality is that she did. I don’t know who you are trying to convince but frankly you are doing a lousy job. If you cannot see that, you have some major “recall issues”. It is obvious you were not following the county re-districting process so you cannot be expected to know very much and you just proved it. However your lame attempt to “guess” why Piepho ultimately voted the way that she did, is just conjecture on your part.
Third, Did you really say Borenstein’s “perfectly logical map”? Please refresh my memory… when was he elected? What are his qualifications again? (something you seem to harp on constantly) He spent how many hours with the county CAO and staff, taking public input in developing his map? His map kept communities and cities whole right? He knows the job and districts better than the Supervisors why? He has been on the Board of Supervisors for how long now? It is ok to admit it; he has no real qualifications to make a “logical map”. Talk about being in over your head, that was just weak. We both know it, so maybe it is time to get serious….
Lastly, you made the worst attempt to backpedal I have ever seen. Really? Loony “Toons”? That is your story? Now that is pretty funny because it just took a few clicks of my keyboard using Google search and guess what, it is still spelled Looney TUNES. Web Link
Even the logo is spelled out “Looney TUNES”. I guess with your logic we all missed your “made up” point, but that wouldn’t be the first time would it?
Not even a good try on your part. Thirty two and off!

I am thinking you are simply a little sour because you got exposed and your attempts to discredit failed miserably. I would think you were used to it by now, but denial is an interesting thing.
You start a posting, and go on to blog with nothing but erroneous information and you think I am strange? Thank goodness, because if someone of your caliber and intent thought otherwise, I think I would actually be concerned.
