Norris Canyon HOV ramp opponents say they'll fight all such ramps

At their meeting Thursday night, opponents of the Norris Canyon HOV/bus lane project said they hope to stop not only that project, but all the others like it. They've started a petition that they want to bring to San Ramon City Council, but also want residents of Danville to step up to fight a similar project planned for Sycamore Road.

I am hoping the opponents prevail. This is yet another step toward privatizing and segregating public roads for monetary gain, no doubt with the hope that this same lane will become another toll section in the near future. This is not New Jersey. And we do not need an off-ramp a mere 1/3 from Crow Canyon. Enough already.

Totally agree with you. I would hope Danville gets involve as well. We are a community and we should help each other.
