Great performance by Piepho in Oakley at BOS meeting Around Town, posted by Oakleyite, a resident of another community, on Jan 12, 2012 at 7:31 pm
I'm sitting watching the BOS meeting on TV that was held in our City of Oakley council chambers. I was wondering why the Board of Supervisors would come to Oakley to conduct business. They have not done this in at least ten years. While I sit here and watch Mary N. Piepho talk the sweet talk and schmooze the audience and camera it dawns on me what is really going on. This is a political move to gain support from Oakley residents for re-election. They changed the supervisor lines to put Oakley in District III and leave Federal Glovers District V. What better way to kill two birds with one stone. Bring the county offices and staff to Oakley to get praise from the locals and maybe some votes too. Cost effective for Mary's campaign, not so much for the people who pay Mary's salary. Excuse me but this is just wrong. Why couldn't we stay with Federal Glover?

Is anyone buying this posting by "Oakleyite"? I have a difficult time believing that a person from Oakley is posting on a Danville blog about a BOS meeting which was held in Oakley.
Perhaps they should vent their frustrations at Gayle Uilkema who was the outgoing chair and set the meeting (not Piepho)...or better yet maybe they should be blogging on an Oakley/Brentwood website (unless of course they have been banned from those local forums or previously had their identity exposed).
Having attended the meeting myself, it was clear the community was elated to have the Supervisors meeting in their board chambers.
P.S. Nice try Oakleyite, but Federal Glover had terrible approval ratings in Oakley. It was clear, Piepho is a welcome change. Shouldn't you get back to East County watching?

The audience for commentary about political practices in Contra Costa County among supervisors does not have boundaries. The fact this story is based on an event in Oakley is of little matter when District 3 is as close to us as Diablo and Blackhawk.
It seems such disquised campaigning in a town with its own problems with seedy politics is a very fitting marriage of two absurdities. There is nothing to win or lose for the Piepho campaign in Oakley because opposition to Mary is the majority of residents throughout district 3. If you simply review polling done by Mary's supporters you will be able to explain why Mary's campaign events happen in Martinez and Oakley.
When Mary can gather a crowd in Antioch, Brentwood or even Discovery Bay, then she might be credited as a viable candidate for re-election.
Let's now enjoy responses from her campaign supporters, shall we?

Did someone call for East County Watching? A meeting in Oakley ? That is very strange. There is an article today in the CC Times too about this. Mary talks about saving money in her speech. Then she brings the entire county staff out to Brentwood to lunch and party.
I loved the part where she gives everyone of her colleagues a “book for dummies ". They didn't even see it coming. YES, I would "buy" the posting informed. The bummer is that they all followed her out here. Maybe the dummy thing has substance.
This type of political move from high maintenance Mary Piepho would not surprise me a bit. I wonder how long people will put up with “High Maintenance Mary”.

It must be Spring, the Bluejays are out and about.
In consideration of this exchange, Appropriately, it should be “May we have coffee, Hal Bailey?” The ability to have coffee is represented by “can” and the agreement to have coffee, or not, is represented by “may”. We MAY have coffee with or without it coming from a CAN.
It would be interest to find out who the HAL is Hal Bailey these pseudonyms seem to know??

Check your facts again. I'm talking about East County and Mary Nejedly Piepho high maintenance decisions on the people's hard earned dollars. There has never over ten years been a meeting of the Supervisors in East Contra Costa County. Spin some other Supervisor's actions is typical of the Piepho Campaign. Talk about propaganda, the entire event was a set up. So, if Gioia jumped off a bridge Mary would follow in tradition the next year ?
For someone to preach cost reduction and savings as a platform to the next year and then throw a party is ridiculous. But then again I heard the Piepho's have thrown parties before on the public’s money.
Remember Keller Funded $4,000.00 zip code party? Maybe that was David Nejedly Piepho and not Mary Nejedly Piepho. Or, it might have been David who took the money from the CSD and gave it back after being caught. I get confused at all the different issues with them. Either way waste and abuse will continue until the abusers are unseated.

East County Watch-or should I call you by your real name?
You need to check YOUR opinions, because they are not even close to the facts. I checked. Then again anyone reading this blog knows your style of hit and run... It is all you have.
Your ongoing anger issue makes you both nasty and transparent. You have developed quite a reputation in East County, on blogs and even in your own hometown. How's that working out for you?
As we can all see you have once again strayed from the topic right into your own cesspool of assumptions and delusions. They say to judge people by their enemies, so if you are Piepho's enemy she must be doing something right! She gets my vote on that alone.
Propaganda? Pot calling the kettle black once again? Your opinions and accusations only exist in your own small and repetitive imagination. I can only imagine what a constant source of aggravation that must be for you.

@ ECW: Another thread, another web of Flint lies.
Channeling Bill Richardson with the zip code junk? What's that a 5 year old smear campaign now? A person of average intelligence with a spare 2 minutes can use a search engine on the local paper to understand this is a fabricated lie. The same paper who's forum Flint's been pretty much run out of for the same nonsense he's putting you folks through here.
If you just follow what he's posted you see the same Piepho derangement syndrome traits that his email buddy Hal displays. Tomi Van de Brooke gets swipes now too because she had the nerve to stand up to Flint's bullying tactics outside the BoS chambers one day. The big oaf even filed a complaint against the petite Ms. TVDB claiming he was intimidated. Funny stuff if you had been there to see it. But if you know Don you know he'll never, never, never get over it.
He's entirely predictable, but not house broken. Sorry folks, but likely to be a looooong election season because the guy never seems to run out of energy recycling his baseless junk over and over.
Don, if you're so concerned about costs to the ratepayers, let's start a discussion just on legal costs incurred by the DBCSD in the last year from the constant barrage of records requests you and your buds force upon them. Conservative guess it's a high 4 figure if not a 5 figure number just for FY 2011. Per a DB Press story a couple of weeks ago they had 106 letters in just one year from just one of your gang. That's better than 2 letters per week from just one guy to just one agency. Pretty much each one has to go by legal because of the history, so it's big $$$ wasted on witch hunts.
Yup, it's a freak show out here. If people only knew the breadth and depth of your little games they would rise up to put a stop to it. I think that's coming.
All this info is on the record and easily verified with a call or email to Discovery Bay's GM.
The OP sounds like he's never watched a BoS meeting before. Pretty much standard fare in that episode. They are are all online if you're interested in getting caught up.

As Chaplain for All things Alamo & Pop(u)lar, our e-exchange with neighbors in Alamo CA, GA, IN, ND, NM, TN and TX, plus many towns named Poplar, let me report neighbors are enjoying the entertaining tabloid commentary of the Piepho campaign supporters as they react in false outrage to the realities of their candidate.
Of course you know it is thought by many USAmericans that our country is tilted and all the loose nuts roll into California. But did you know that more and more the belief is such nuts are loose in in our region. Since 2007, our e-exchange neighbors have been reading the Danville Weekly on-line and its lesser version, Danville Express, as the funny papers and then sharing outrageous humor about the Town Square Forum.
On a serious note, you might wonder about the impact nationally on the Express' credibility each time Mary's "usual suspects" return to defame, disrespect and deny voice to their imagined opponents. In the same thought, Mary's campaign might consider how inflamatory content of supporters on this forum is impacting district 3 voters.
All things Alamo & Pop(u)lar participants appreciate the tabloid humor found in this exchange but is it fair reflection of the intelligent, professional population of your readership area?

"Chaplain", it's a bit odd the hypocrisy you seem to want to promote. It would appear your foot soldiers are to be allowed to post whatever baseless innuendo they care to and you expect it not to receive any pushback? Is that what I'm reading?
Maybe criticism is a one way street over at the Church of Shirley Mason. Do we need to point to the many inflammatory and oft times very odd posts or can you remember last week?
The title of the thread alone is indicative of someone not well versed in history or tradition of current BoS reorganizations. Perhaps if you stuck to facts or researched the material or even were capable of accepting explanations without attacking those making counterpoints the forum could be a less abrasive exchange for the CDSI cult followers?

Our hunger to seek out dominance at any price is food for thought. Different comments reveal different approaches. The first approach reveals distrust and frustration with Mary Piepho. The second approach is a desire to discredit the first approach. The end result becomes a bickering two and fro until one gives up. Then another topic examining the same Mary Piepho person is posted. The process starts again. Just what is so special about Mary Piepho to have created a division in everyone ?
Posted by [removed], a resident of another community, on Jan 15, 2012 at 11:18 am
Please consider that Millie was writing to you. It is media's responsibility to explain the issues for candidates in District 2, 3 and 5 with your focus within your readership region.
In District 2, the contest is between a former Chief of Staff for Mary Piepho and the current Mayor of Danville CA. The difference is approach for these equally charming and accessible candidates. Tomi is part of the political consortium, as listed as her endorsements. Candace is supported broadly in District 2 as part of the new politics that delivered a new DA and Sheriff in the 2010 election.
In District 3, Mary Piepho is running for re-election, as a third term, and is facing broad disenchantment with her performance in office and her accessibility during the past 7 years. Her opponents are waiting until the last minute to declare their candidacy because they know the types of political alliances Mary has among economic councils, corporations, developers and public safety unions. The 2008 campaign was full demonstration of attacks such allied campaigns can deliver against such opponents. For readers' reference, please research the attendees of a campaign kick-off in Martinez hosted by Tom Powers and covered by the Martinez Patch website.
At some point, BANG, Patch or EMCEB websites will profile these candiates using the in-depth research of news services provided to their subscribers. Until then, your readers that haven't already joined neighborhoods' majority choices will need to do their own research via news articles, social media, CCC Grand Jury reports, and other governmental reviews.
Does that outline your intended feature in response to Millie?

I thought the very same thing. Apparently he does not realize that BOTH Bob Kochly and Warren Rupf retired and their replacements have no connection as he suggests.
His latest post simply galvanized the fact that he is out of touch with many things.
I am sure you also noted the subtle adjectives (“political consortium” versus “supported broadly”), that he used to describe the candidates; casting one in a poor light and trying to elevate the other. C’mon [removed] we are a little smarter than that.
The final stunt was the comment about how candidates for District 3 are waiting and why they are doing so. This is where the train completely derails. No serious candidate would "wait", knowing that every day that passes is a missed opportunity to gain support and endorsements to run a viable campaign. [removed] seems to like speaking for everyone including Alamo, Districts 2 and 3 and even the candidates themselves! Perhaps that is why he uses so many pseudonyms?

As the vaudeville continues in this exchange, let's deal with some answers for your further use in your features on the ditrict 2 campaign. The significant voter support that elected District Attorney Peterson and Sheriff Livingston is new to Contra Costa County. The emergence of voters' connections among neighborhoods e-exchanges and via social media created a focused choice.
Nothing has been said in this exchange that the DA and Sheriff are supporting Candace Andersen. It is the emergent neighborhoods' majority that is illustrating support for Candace Andersen throughout District 2. Such focus polling by news services among their news service social media connections provides easily attainable evidence of such voter preferences.
You will find similar polling in district 3 that will illustrate the same emergent majority of voters promoting new candidates and preparing to elect such choices.
Such challenges as above, quite insulting to your readers and any purpose for your forum, need your review and correction.

I would rest my case by recent examples if only to calm the storm of bitterness. I find myself pulled in by the strategy of both adversaries on what I perceive to be only two goals by two bitter enemies. The one goal or as I previously referred to as the "first approach" begs for relief from the ills of Mary Piepho and addresses those concerns in the third party. The second goal as I refer to as the "second approach" thrives to discredit and personally attack goal/approach one. Two unique strategies for the same goal of each groups solicited support. This leads me to conclude that the election cycle within this county will be cutthroat and abusive this year. I do not seem to hear this type of behavior coming from District V. Please tell me what is so common about District II & III to generate this behavior that is not in District V this election cycle ?
Posted by jjjj, a resident of the Alamo neighborhood, on Jan 16, 2012 at 7:44 am
to the old fool.... please explain where you are finding all this polling? if you intend to site polls please identify who the pollsters are... my bet is just like every other challenge you have had.." please editor", review and correct.. never answer a direct challenge... that is why you remain the old fool.

It is likely important to concerned readers such as Millie to understand that regional humorists are simply provoking commentary by the "bluejays" and informed resident(s)authors to illustrate the tabloid style of the Danville Express and its Town Square Forum. there is no serious interest in offering detailed fact-checking done by neighborhoods and news media researchers or will such research be shared in this exchange. As a news services subscriber, you have resources to provide such responses to your readers.
Since November 2009, the final conversion of The Danville Weekly to the current Tabloid version of the Danville Express included a fully out-of-control Town Square Forum filled with defamatory, disrespectful, and quite disreputable commentary without real content.
The goal of our many pseudonyms it to be a mirror for the ugliness that occurs on this forum. Our commentary is only a reflection of the disregard for reality and respect among Mary Piepho's "usual suspects."
Now, how fun is that? It just one more for your storybook pages.

There will be candidates for District III. I hope there is only one so we can get this over with. The reason a candidate would wait on the District III campaign is because of the low life dirty political attacks that come from people like you. Why be dragged through the mud by your group unnecessarily? Your group of malcontents and socialistic extremists must be quieted. Your group is like a cancer that consumes everything around it while taking advantage of the taxpayers. This is partly what’s wrong with the government. There are too many takers and career politicians. It’s the duty of good citizens in Contra Costa to stop this uncontrollable political regime. "Piepho must go" will be the new slogan.
"This is where the train completely derails. No serious candidate would "wait", knowing that every day that passes is a missed opportunity to gain support"
This comment is classical. Support to unseat Mary Piepho is already there. It does not need much gaining. It all natural by her own alienation of citizens.
Posted by Informed Resident, a resident of another community, on Jan 16, 2012 at 9:18 am
East County Watch,
Good luck with that tactic.
Your hypocrisy is beyond belief and amazing to anyone that reads it. You spew accusations of; "Dirty low life political attacks" and then go on to do exactly that. Perhaps you need to post ONE “dirty low life political attack” that has come from supporters, because everyone of your posts contains several:
• “Your group of malcontents and socialistic extremists must be quieted.”
• “Your group is like a cancer that consumes everything around it while taking advantage of the taxpayers.”
• “This is partly what’s wrong with the government.”
• “There are too many takers and career politicians.”
• ‘It’s the duty of good citizens in Contra Costa to stop this uncontrollable political regime.”
• "Piepho must go" will be the new slogan.
Yeah, No “dirty low life political attack” there right? What a hypocrite. Keep posting because you just continue to clarify your motives, identity, desperation….and frustration.

Like I said, Piepho derangement syndrome.
Socialistic extremists? Did you get lost on which forum you were in with the name calling? Supervisor is a non-partisan office. I guess that's some weird defense of your actions which cost the local rate payers dearly. You can't address those so you deflect with some non-sensical comment.
Then there is "your group must be quieted". Yikes! I guess that whole free speech thing is over-rated when it's not your message being spoken? Your brand of innuendo and outright lies is all you'll tolerate?
The "train derails" comment is addressing political reality and strategy. Your group has never really grasped the concept so it's not surprising that you blindly lash out at this one. You just sound like a very angry and confused individual, which for those who know you is a fairly accurate characterization.
Have the marauding malcontents figured out the tradition of BoS reorg and the reason for the Oakley venue? Or are you still struggling with the basics from the OP?

They are right "MARY MUST GO"....She tells lots of lies and someone told me they went to school with her and she flunked Math 101. Not very smart. That is pretty obvious by the mess made of the County. It is always the poor taxpaper that gets nothing from this do nothing woman.
Posted by Informed Resident, a resident of another community, on Jan 16, 2012 at 10:25 pm
Nice try…again with another pseudonym?
First, didn't Hal [removed] try to convince us over and over about how sophisticated Alamo residents are and yet this is the best you can do?
This battery of innuendo is getting quite old. Let’s review shall we?
• “She tells lots of lies and someone told me they went to school with her and she flunked Math 101.” -Nothing but fabricated innuendo.
• “Not very smart.” –Again innuendo.
• “That is pretty obvious by the mess made of the County.” -More innuendo.
• “It is always the poor taxpaper that gets nothing from this do nothing woman.” And once again, nothing but baseless innuendo.
Obviously this person has never met Piepho and knows nothing about her record or the improved state of the County. Then again, maybe this posting was just another veiled attack under another pseudonym.
Hey, East County Watch, remember you were talking about "Dirty low life political attacks" just a few short hours ago? Well the poster above provided 4 more examples. I am sure you are going to jump all over the poster for such attacks, right?

AS the economic humorist among my fellow humorists, let us be fair. Mary successfully graduated from high school and completed some college and training courses as background for her current work. She has excellent language skills illustrated in her writing and a charming approach to those needed for support of her interests.
The extensive work, quite undone, on costs to our county has been performed by the county administrator and staff at the request of the Board of Supervisors. There is no supervisor currently in office with economic, finance or budgetary skills to perform such work except Gayle Uilkema and we are losing that skill this year.
The exceptional burden of county retirement plans, and the operational department managing such results, has yet to be remedied in any significant way. The other burdens of healthcare costs and operations of county health services have only reduced funding for needed public safety operations.
Contra Costa has a history of choosing poorly prepared supervisors with limited education and experience. We have had bartenders, school teachers, bureaucrats just to name a few backgrounds. And we certainly could do better in demanding a resume of expertise in public policy, government law and economic programs.
Let us for once be fair to ourselves and demand qualified supervisors, or is that simply too humorous for this exchange?

Mr./Mrs./Ms Vacant Lot, You have been the only true and serious comment here. Thank you for helping us out of the gutter.
Does anyone know if Mary Piepho was on the Byron School Board when Discovery Bay West mitigation was made? That 600 student school mitigated for the 2,500 houses leading to the recent tax bond to expand Excelsior seems unfair to the long time residents.

Your tabloid is providing an enjoyable lack of conversation between rational points of view and Mary's campaign drivel without content. How does that serve the news process and the presentation of informed opinion.
As we anticipate the postings of Captain Silly Whizbang in review of Mary's snap and dazzle show presented by Informed Resident(s) authors, it might be the first step for you to direct the conversations to reality by fact-checking what is provided versus the lack of any content in much of this exchange.
Consider the body of information provided to EMCEB as a subscriber news services distributions, then using your quality education at SFSU to illustrate what is believable reality, fact check this exchange! Depending on the output of a campaign supporting a high school graduate's desire to be re-elected to a supervisory position she does not have resume to perform is not the best use of your education and journalism.
So do we satisfy our entertainment with drivel by Mary's campaign supporters or do you step forward and define qualifications needed for district 3 supervisor? A majority of voters have demanded that choice and your journalism is not describing that reality.

Thanks to all for the comments.
When I posted this I was pretty upset at what I had seen on TV when they showed the special Oakley meeting of the BOS. I was fuming over what I thought the entire event was costing when the economy and county are in such poor condition. After all the self compliments and staged political promises, I had it and started this post. I am still displeased at the show.
After reading the comments here, it seems there are hard core people both for and against Mary Piepho. I have read many stories about Mary Piepho in the newspapers. I am reserved as to her effectiveness for our community and the district.
If there comes a challenger, I would like to see a four year college history, a successful track record in public office, a promise of If commitment to the residents of the district, and a person who will not spend county funds excessively.
If more comments are posted, please be courteous and honest. Everyone's opinion is welcomed.

There cannot be a fitting end to discussions of Mary Piepho's qualifications for office until campaign dogma is replaced by justification, even as opinion, of Mary's qualifications by supporters in this exchange. Over more than two months, exchanges on your town square forum have included personal attacks on commentators and their opinions fully defamatory and disrespectful of the intent of the town square forum, "Please be respectful and truthful in your postings so Town Square will continue to be a thoughtful gathering place for sharing community information and opinion."
There is little defense of Mary's qualifications or acheivements or any explanation of the issues that are well documented during Mary's time in office. Such attacks on commentators assumed to be opponents ultimately reflects badly on any positive view of Mary by voters in your readership area, in all of district 3 and throughout Contra Costa County.
So let's invite Mary's supporters to establish Mary's qualifications, even in opinion, and move discussions to what serves the will and interests of district 3 voters, their communities and neighborhoods.

Tom, I do not think we are playing smarter than a fifth grader here.
The comments I see about Mary are always responded with a derogatory statement about the poster. Even these types of responses make Mary look bad. If all her supporters can only respond with discrediting and ridiculing, the education issue is important.
Why don't they post what accomplishments she has made for the people in her District? I can come up with much more costs to residents outweighing her benefits and accomplishments. We haven't got our bang for our buck with Mary since day one. The first thing I remember her doing was giving herself a 60% raise, the next thing I remember was a letter sent out by the County Sheriff himself stating he does not trust her, and then there is the appointment issues with her husband. Then it was her husband issues with taking public funds unrightfully. It goes on and on. These several incidents cost us residents thousands of dollars to correct and defend. Is this what we get for $ 125,000 plus a year Supervisor? Somehow the public is getting ripped off. I wonder if people know that if she gets only more term then she will get benefits for life from the taxpayers. Then she will probably go for a state seat and start the process again. We need someone who cares about us and not themselves.

Don't hold your breath with these folks. These people are champions of the "hit and run" attack. They thrive on blogs, including this one, desperately hoping that if they proclaim an accusation enough, someone (anyone) might buy into it. It never works.
The reality remains they are right back to recycling the very same issues (such as fabricated stories, innuendo, whatever they can make up, etc.,) that they did in the last campaign. Check for yourself; It did not work then and it will not work now.
Time and time again, they post fraudulent half-truths in an attempt to paint individuals (in this case Supervisor Piepho) in a bad light. As you may surmise, anonymous bloggers can fabricate anything as they have NO accountability to provide you with anything beyond what they want you to believe. It pretty sad but that is all they have. Check the record, it is in sharp contrast to what they try to get you to believe. Based on history the average person does not buy into their rhetoric no matter how many times they repost.
Reporters often refer to this as "silly season"....now you know why.
p.s. I think we all know that having a degree plays a small part on one’s overall intelligence nor is it always directly related to one’s success. I would suggest "experience" is the greatest way to gain knowledge.
Some of the dumbest people I know hold degrees and many of the most successful people I know, do not. Personally I have a degree, have never really used it and it certainly is not a measure of my success.

@ ECW Don Flint, the master of innuendo strikes again!
Drive-by is spot on. It's the MO his gang uses in all the forums. You should be asking yourself why he's not pitching this junk in his hometown. Think it has anything to do with The Press telling him they've had enough of his garbage? You'll note he NEVER addresses the points raised with him, he simply moves on to repost tired old junk that was dismissed long ago.
Do you see him mentioning the fact that the Grand Jury recommended the salary increase to attract talented individuals? Of course not. That would diminish his cowardly commentary. Now he's somehow given the BoS a raise even! It just gets better and better with this guy. But to bring up the fact that he's attempting to deceive the readers is somehow not allowed or he'll whine as he has done here.
If Don were genuinely interesedt in Piepho's accomplishments he could point to her website. It's not like he hasn't been there. Recall he was complaining a couple of weeks ago about his name being in her list of supporters 4 years ago.
The only thing being "ripped off" here is the truth with this online cowardice.
Don's education angle is actually an 8 year old retread approach. For those objective types out there, here's a list that might interest you:

East County Watch,
A few things come to mind in regards to your ongoing posts. First, you are infatuated with Supervisor Piepho, or the Piepho's in general. Second, you sure have a lot of time and hatred on your hands to spin reality into something that suits you while trying to make others look bad. And Third a disrespect for the facts.
It doesn't take much on the Internet to research the issues that you raised. However what comes up does not jive with what you post. If the facts and reality make you look bad and come across derogatory so be it. After all isn't that EXACTLY what you are trying to do to our Supervisor who is actually doing a good job for all of the citizens of Contra Costa? Just because you have a PERSONAL issue and choose to hide behind a pseudonym does not insulate you from reality. If you think you are so righteous post under your own name and let the people decide, after all you are the one posting the ridiculous accusations.
I don't need to post the Supervisors accomplishments because they are not only readily available via a Google search, and you know it. You would just do your best to put your own twisted spin so let's save us all the time and let readers and voters decide for themselves.
As for your accusations it is just another shotgun blast of innuendo that you hope will resonate with anyone that does not check the facts.
You very well know that by law the only ones that can provide salary adjustments are the supervisors themselves. You also know that the Grand Jury also recommended the adjustment because the supervisors had gone for so many years without a raise that they had fallen 60 percent behind-and even with this increase they are still paid BELOW their counterparts in all the surrounding counties. Further they are paid one half of what the other county electeds (sheriff, etc) are paid in this county even though their responsibility far exceeds that. You already know as well that our supervisors make far less that the loaded figure you posted.
As far as the rest of the accusations you posted I would not dignify them, nor waste my time with a point by point response. You clearly are on a mission to try to confuse anyone that might mistake your 'headlines' for the reality of each individual situation. The real stories and facts are all available through an online search. You are just banking on the hope that anyone reading your accusations won't take the time to research as a reporter would.
Finally you want us to believe Piepho is trying to get one more term so she will get benefits? You are really confused for such an East County Watch. It is my understanding that a county person is vested after 5 years. That time came and went last election cycle in case you were not "watching". Just another one of your assumptions, innuendo, and falsehood that turns out to be wrong. From what I have seen Piepho is committed to making the County a better place live, in spite of your attacks and accusations. Otherwise I am sure she would have moved on to a higher seat by now such as some of the other board members. It is very apparent she is one of the most electable in Contra Costa county-no matter how you try to spin it.
It is clear to me that you want things only your way. I'll bet you get disappointed a lot.

Can you just imagine how the following welcomes Terry, Danville Patch's new editor among your mutual readership?
Our invitation: “Over more than two months, exchanges on your town square forum have included personal attacks on commentators and their opinions fully defamatory and disrespectful of the intent of the town square forum, "Please be respectful and truthful in your postings so Town Square will continue to be a thoughtful gathering place for sharing community information and opinion." So let's invite Mary's supporters to establish Mary's qualifications, even in opinion, and move discussions to what serves the will and interests of district 3 voters, their communities and neighborhoods.”
Posted by tom, “please explain how your college degree makes you smarter than me, with a high school diploma.”
Posted by East County Watch, “The comments I see about Mary are always responded with a derogatory statement about the poster.”
Posted by Informed Resident, “Don't hold your breath with these folks. These people are champions of the "hit and run" attack.”
Posted by Flint's shadow @ ECW Don Flint, the master of innuendo strikes again!, “It's the MO his gang uses in all the forums. You should be asking yourself why he's not pitching this junk in his hometown.”
Posted by Congrats, “East County Watch, A few things come to mind in regards to your ongoing posts. First, you are infatuated with Supervisor Piepho, or the Piepho's in general. Second, you sure have a lot of time and hatred on your hands to spin reality into something that suits you while trying to make others look bad.”
**it is interesting to note that our invitation to illustrate Mary’s contributions in fact, documentation or opinion was not answered and attack dog strategies are still Mary Piepho supporters’ approach. “Cleaning up the Town Square forum is like washing dirt,” noted Lorraine, Sr. Research Editor, Subscriber news service, as she laughed her way through the continuing tabloid thinking in this exchange.

While you probably will never "get it" I will try once again.
YOU (and at least one other person aka; East Co Watch) keep throwing the mud and we keep defending against it. WE get it, YOU don’t like it. What you fail to recognize is that Mary's supporters DON’T start these debates (posts), don't use innuendo, and only counter your character assassinations of our County Supervisor. In some twisted way you believe that is an attack on YOU. This is an opinion forum-do you get that? We get an opinion to counter your opinion, that is how this works.
Let me put it in plain English for you; We don’t subscribe to your methods or your conspiracy theories. If defending untruths that YOU post with our debunking of your assumptions and innuendos bothers you, then you are welcome to QUIT doing it. It is pretty simple.
When your accusations, speculations, assumptions and innuendo fall flat you are quick to start whining, which comes across no better than an arsonist who has burned his own fingers and then cries foul.
As far as defending your conspiracies I am not going to play tit for tat with you nor will I do your research. Anyone that cares to, can Google any of the specific issues that YOU and East Co. Watch recklessly post and decide for themselves. You see the funny thing about FACTS is that they are easy to discover on the internet, so the burden of “proving anything” is rests on you. Go back and read your posts-YOU post no facts, just half truths or headlines without any supporting documentation. I have a difficult time believing for someone like you that flaunts themselves as a “researcher” and a networker, cannot find the extensive lists of the Supervisors accomplishments. That alone is telling to anyone that reads these blogs.
So let’s stop playing games shall we Hal? Your pointless exchange is getting old and is now being recycled for at least the 3rd time. We get it, you don’t like the Supervisor and are probably frustrated that you cannot vote in her election. Time to move on because we are not going anywhere.

Denial again Hal?
You don't get it after all. Oh well, I tried. I can't speak for the other supporters or posters here (I only post under Informed Resident) but I can play at this as long as you wish. Keep pitching those softballs and I will keep knocking them over the fence.
Mind you I am not attacking the pitcher, just the pitch.

Hal, you come in here with these bogus news organization claims like you're Knight-Ridder or something. That's pretty clearly a "we" presentation, is it not?
But you can't comprehend that Supervisor Piepho might have more than one supporter out here who doesn't appreciate you and your friend Don's drive-by style of character assassination?
You post lies and innuendo and it will be challenged. Simple as that. You don't like it, then back it up with facts. We've already heard the opinions and you're repeating yourself for the umpteenth time.

You are without copyright to control Informed Resident(s) commentary on your site and therefore, as public notice, "The complete works of Informed Resident(s)" along with the history of Mary Piepho in office has been published to news service social media subscribers in Contra Costa County.

East County Watch,
I sure hope you did not spend a lot of time on that.
As I opined previously, you continue to post innuendo and this is more of the same. While I do not have the desire to waste time going ‘tit for tat’ with your creative spin, I will point out that what you cited was all OPINION and even more insinuation. Perhaps it is lost on you that EDITORIALS are just opinion and not fact. (That comes right from the editorial board themselves).
Your links are all bogus. As far as your desperation pointing to anything posted on Halfway to Concord (a political smear blog), that does not even come close to meeting the bar. Wow, what a stretch!
Anyone that cares to read the official documents or review official records and reports (not editorials, or blogged opinions) will see that you are simply continuing your quest to try to put your wild twist on things. Frankly it is pathetic.
Once again you rely on spin and conjecture to make others look bad. It is that simple.

You might jump in here and explain that editorials are based on well-researched information and validation of resources as protection against libel complaints. While editors will use opinion in their writing, such as Dolores' excellent Diablo View(s), the basis of all such writing is validation of the core factual reality of the editorial.
In repeated fact-checking of Express Forum exchanges containing Informed Resident(s) attacks and opinions, there is no obvious use of style and libel guides typically employed by editors. There is no content in the attacks as factual information and the entire purpose is destraction from any provision of content by other commentators.
So, Editor, step up here and explain the process Dolores goes through to provide entertaining and informative Diablo Views for our review. Then actually read the references from other publications and explain the process used by BANG and other news services in creating factually based editorials.
It is your turn to participate! Or are you working on Volume II of the "Complete Works of Informed Resident(s)?

We are now at a point where you, as editor, must report what is the purpose of campaign performances in Oakley, or any community not Mary Piepho's home, and how that performance applies to voters knowledge and choices in District 3.
