Danville-based foundation tackles nursing shortages in Africa

Fourteen-year-old Janet was on her way to school in Northern Uganda when she was abducted by rebels in the Lords Resistance Army and forced to become a child soldier and wife. When she escaped seven years later, she came upon Gulu Hospital nd was greeted by women she would soon aspire to be like.

Fascinating it is mentioned it was a "Christian" militia who kidnapped the poor girl. Would have been more credible if criminal Islamist were mentioned too. Oh---maybe they dont kidnap as they cut off the head after the rape.
