Former sheriff's deputy pleads not guilty to 'Dirty DUI' charges

A former Danville police officer and Contra Costa County sheriff's deputy pleaded not guilty in Oakland federal court Monday to charges in connection with an ongoing Central Contra Costa County Narcotic Enforcement Team corruption case. Stephen Tanabe, 48, was allegedly involved in a scheme to set up divorcing men with DUI convictions.

Anybody know why they are hiding the name of the driver of the pick-up that killed the mother / daughter in the accident on Sycamore Valley? I heard he was texting......does anybody know why they are keeping it HUSH HUSH......I heard something else too but don't want to print it, what I heard would not surprise me. It has been over a month and nothing is being said???????? TUM TING FISHY!

The name of the driver is John Peder Harris (32) from Walnut Creek.
