Around Town, posted by Editor, Danville Weekly Online, on Nov 28, 2011 at 12:11 pm

One hundred fifty American flags and even more Valley residents lined the streets of downtown Danville Monday afternoon to view a funeral procession for Lance Cpl. Plane is delayed because of fog. Hope to arrive before school gets out.

From Town of Danville’s twitter account @Danville INFO: As of now, no certain arrival time has been given for Lnc Cpl Corral. Estimates are around 2:00-2:30pm arrival downtown.

Many thanks to the Veteran Service Organizations and others who gave generously of their time and effort to afford this worthy family such wonderful tributes.

Of note: Diablo Valley Flag Brigade, who installed the 150 large American flags and flagpoles along the route.

I hope the family can find some solace and peace.
