One hundred fifty American flags and even more Valley residents lined the streets of downtown Danville Monday afternoon to view a funeral procession for Lance Cpl. Joshua "Chachi" Corral who died on Nov. 18 during his first tour of duty in Afghanistan's Helmund province. The Corral family received their son's body at Travis Air Force Base and was escorted by over 100 vehicles down I-680 to Wilson-Kratzer Funeral Home in Danville.

From Town of Danville’s twitter account @Danville INFO: As of now, no certain arrival time has been given for Lnc Cpl Corral. Estimates are around 2:00-2:30pm arrival downtown.

Many thanks to the Veteran Service Organizations and others who gave generously of their time and effort to afford this worthy family such wonderful tributes.
Of note: Diablo Valley Flag Brigade, who installed the 150 large American flags and flagpoles along the route.
