On Saturday, the Danville Police Department teamed up with the DEA for a prescription drug take-back event at police headquarters. The event gave residents an opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescriptions.

Help us build awareness about the dangers of abusing prescription drugs! Please contact me if you are interested in helping organize,plan and/or sponsor NCAPDA's "Prescription Drug Awareness Month" initiative or would like more information. Our Steering Committee meetings are scheduled for 11/14,12/5 and 12/19 from 4:30-6:00 pm and our Youth Programs Subcommittee meetings are scheduled on 11/4 (5:00-6:30pm) and 11/18, 12/2, 12/8, 12/16 from 4:30-6:00 pm. All meetings are being held at 4 Crow Canyon Court (Bldg. 4), Suite 210, San Ramon.
