Dear Editor,
There are many that do not make the admired list and some unknown that should be recognized. Whoever leads Ross Stores should be recognized for stock performance and it is a local company. Certainly, Charles and Helen Schwab deserve recognition for their many contributions in our bay area.
H-P's board continues its poor choices of leadership for a very important company started in another garage by Dave and Bill. Solyndra brought back much of the old silicon valley with questionable technology and uses of investors' funding.
The leaders at Intel Capital, KP Ventures and Chevron Technology Ventures continue to invest in technology development and start-ups in our region and deserve recognition.
Thus, Stan's question is the basis of a great story about how our bay area grows its own future and it is yours to tell.

Many. Both in large corporations and small businesses. All work hard and build their business through creativity, imagination, cooperation, respect, and dedication.
I do not know any business leader who is not positive about the future. I am also the owner of two businesses.
