Danville Council campaigns have started in cyberspace
Around Town, posted by [removed], a resident of the Danville neighborhood, on Sep 30, 2011 at 10:30 am

Dear Editor,

A volume of e-exchanges have started in our region to generate new candidates for Danville Town Council including candidates for replacement of council members to be recalled in the 2012 elections. It appears Danville voters are very sympathetic to Diablo, Blackhawk and Alamo neighborhoods that will bear the imposition of traffic from new development projects on or near Diablo Road. What Danville voters are now sharing is the number of issues neighborhoods throughout Danville have experienced due to the condescending attitudes of the majority of Danville council members.

It seems a repeating question is being asked, "Do we need a town government that simply ignores our neighborhoods?" A feature in subscriber news service will explore all the individual cases being shared among the neighborhoods' e-exchanges and that suggests that there is a story for your reporting.

Dear Editor,

Thank you to EMCEB's Pleasanton Staff for disclosing my contact information to neighborhoods' representatives and participants that wish to be part of replacement of the Danville Council in 2012. I was able to fulfill their requests for referral to Danville neighborhoods forum's planned campaigns and to Steve Weir, CCC Elections Department. Very capable Danville neighbors wish to be considered as potential candidates and campaign leaders.

Stan Wharton seems to have a topic for his Streetwise column, "Would you vote to replace the Danville Town Council?
