A representative from Healthnet will facilitate an educational presentation to educate Medicare beneficiaries about the basics of Medicare from 10:30 a.m.-noon, Wednesday, Sept. 21, at the Alcosta Senior and Community Center, 9300 Alcosta Blvd., San Ramon. Recent changes to the time lines for the Annual Enrollment Period will also be discussed. This event is free. Call 973-3255.

Will the Healthnet mtg include what will hAppen IF Obama"care" isn't stopped? Fewer seniors is one of the goals. And is this the same Healthnet who denied a woman breast cancer treatment (experimental)--she died--but approved the SAME treTment for a Healthnet secretary who survived? Playing God?

I remember the Healthnet denial story. The dead woman was a young mom with 2 kids. Shame. Also no local congress people have signed house resolution 615 which would require THEY give up their private federal medical coverage and accept "obamacare"....gee no takers??
