It's Showtime at the MAC!
Crimes & Incidents, posted by Ralph N. Shirlet, a resident of another community, on Sep 3, 2011 at 6:28 pm

Dear Editor,

Will it be a last hurrah at the Contra Costa County Municipal Advisory Council, Alamo meeting, September 6, 2011, at Hap Magee Park? Well, it seems so because no other announcement has been made.

District 3 staff and “Alamo MAC” members will be listening to public presentation of critical issues including Danville’s dumping of traffic into Alamo from the Magee Ranch and Weber Ranch property. One last time to tell Mary Piepho and staff what you think of an unwelcome MAC in Alamo and one more chance to address the issues in the public commentary portion of the dance card (agenda) to make real issues a part of MAC discussions.

So make a batch of popcorn and come ready to be entertained. Let the seriousness of Alamo region issues simply fall as a challenge to the lack of interactive discussion, consideration and mitigation specified by CCC-MAC policy. Think of it as “Show Time!”

Of Ralph thinking buttered or plain

Dear Editor,

Your readers planning to attend the final district 3 MAC meeting in Alamo should check with Mary Peipho's office to verify the meeting location, time and if it is to occur. Alamo residents are reporting that the meeting planned for the Cottage at Hap Magee Ranch Park at 6PM today has not been confirmed. Conflicting information suggested that the meeting may be held at the Alamo Chamber offices in the Alamo Plaza Shopping Center.
