Dear Stan,

Let's start an Alamo region list for neighbors to consider:

* Sugar Loaf open space is great for natural open space walks

* Great Donuts have great donuts and coffee

* The Brass Bear has wonderful European DELI

* There are falls on the creek at the end of Hillgrade

* The Iron Horse Trail is a great place to meet people

I am sure your readers have their own list.

Good Topic, thanks

Our favorite has always been the Iron Horse Trail! And the Danville Library. And just hanging out at home...

Great Doughnuts to pick up a box of doughnuts to surprise the family on weekend mornings

Oak Hill Park, especially for the SHRRCA Husky Fun Match this summer

The wonderful Danville Library and the Town Green

Walking down Downtown Danville streets, greeting people and their dog companions!

Country Waffles in Danville is a great place to go for breakfast or lunch,

If you go on Saturday, you can shop at the nearby Farmers' Market by the Railroad Museum.

So many..picnic lunch at Hap Magee, sitting on the teak bench on the west side of Amber Bistro Saturday morning after my run, cooling off and people watching, the Diablo West neighborhood park, walking the labyrinth at St. Timothy's, anywhere on the Iron Horse Trail, the Alamo cemetary, the waterfalls in the creek behind Fresh and Easy, and of course, sitting in the shade of the new solar panels at Monte Vista having a bologna sandwich with Hal and Julia, listening to Julia berate everything around her.
