Comments on Stories, posted by Editor, Danville Weekly Online, on Mar 10, 2008 at 1:11 pm

If the County is short on cash, I recommend they trim the County Health Department, they obviously have too much time / cash on their hands. They are worred about 'food that can be contaminated in the open air'. What about farmer's markets? What about the people in 'enclosed' stores handling all the food?

The food is grown outside and subject to 'birds and furry creatures' all the time. It is just washed.

I do the same thing. Guess what Couty health..if the food doesn't look good,ripe,healthy..I don't buy it.

I agree with Craig. The County seems to have too much time on their hands. I could see if the fruit stand had one or more compliants, but they haven't. I loved shopping there and plan to support them more because of this.
