Great...the most positive statement in the entire article is in the 4th paragraph where it states, "Danville Police will be strictly enforcing traffic laws to all three groups". BTW, the first group already obey's the traffic laws, well lets say 95% of them. The other two groups obey nothing.
I hope the word gets out to all those Bicyclists and Pedestrians. I sure hope the Danville PD can get the bicyclist and the pedestrians to obey the traffic laws, but I doubt it.

I sure hope "Share Our Streets" also applies to the inconsiderate people in SUVs and minivans who feel it is perfectly OK to park in the middle of the street to pick up or drop off their kids at various schools and activities....so rude!!!!

Hopefully this means that bicyclists actually OBEY the street LIGHTS and SIGNS. When there IS a bike lane DON'T ride ON the white line. You also should BAND the use of some roads that are WITHOUT bike lanes. For example the TWISTY Diablo Rd. between Green Valley and Mt Diablo entrance. Cars have to take their life and others in their hands when dealing with cyclists. THIS IS RUDE!!

Here we go again, the rant of the entitled car driver against the biker. I think you should be required to connect a hose from your exhaust pipe to you car cabin, so you can breath the stench of your laziness. What gives you the privilege to dump your pollution in my air. What gives you the right to any unobstructed roadway? I am so sorry that you get slowed down on your hurried and harried mission by a few seconds. Oh poor drivers, you have to slightly move one foot to access the pedals... so much energy, such precious seconds...

I almost get hit daily by these FAT SUV's and mini vans while I'm driving. These are the worst, most obnoxious and clueless drivers on the road. A true danger to society and the Earth. Yeah, the Yukon isn't fat enough for your selfish attitude. You need the Yukon 'XL' to block traffic, pollute the air and haul your fat everything around town. Try riding a bike for some excercise and save the air for goodness sake. What a poor example you are for our children driving these TANKS!
OH YEAH, get those "KEEP TAHOE BLUE" stickers off your SUV's! TRY KEEPING THE AIR BLUE!!!
