That explains why the wait at Sponges for the clean car is a lot shorter than usual. It also is an indication that the Repub's are hiring for street corner, sign wavers, as the election is less than 2 years away. Get with it neighbors, those of us out of work are being forced to take the service jobs, when we can get in to apply before it is advertised to our short term visitors. There is no decline in unemployment in this area. This story and its creator need to wake up and smell the coffee..........

Danville Dad...just sending a few words of encouragement, I was there too...conventional wisdom has always said it takes you one month to find a new job based on how much money you made, ergo, a 100,000 job would take 10 months in a good economy, more now given the state of things, hang tough. Easy enough to say I know, I saw a lot of guys like me at Costco on a Thursday afternoon shopping for bargains. It will get better...I promise, keep the faith. Many, Many of us have walked a mile in your shoes. I start my new job this Friday. In moments of despair remember you are not alone and keep looking for the bright side! We appreciate your candor and I am sure others will chime in....hang tough if you can amigo!
