Crime up slightly in Danville last year according to annual report

Danville crime statistics for 2010 show a mixed bag, with rape and homicides down and an increase in armed robberies, strong-arm robberies and aggravated assaults, all types of crimes that enforcement has little effect on. While there were no Danville homicides in 2010, there were two rapes, down from three in 2009.

As far as the comment made about " Section 8 " new alert folks from Blackhawk area and other places around Danville have been arrested for various crimes not always those on limited incomes......money does not always make the man .....think about it !

Where does the fact that enforcement has no effect on some of the worst crimes come from? Consider what would happen if the police were compensated for their effectiveness, i.e. reduction in crime rather than their presence.

Adult arrests were up 24%....may be a statistical aberration but that is interesting...
