Nice job Danville PD. Way to pick up the patrols, get creative and BEGIN to make a stop to this pattern of crimes.

Thanks!

Great. However, let's get back to the other cases that have been sitting on the desk for over a year..... We have bigger issues than this little rob deal.

Great job Danville (and San Ramon) PDs. Thank you!

Hmmm... sounds like the "sting" was fruitless and the only real police work was the San Ramon PD responding quickly to a citizen report.

Also feels like many of the readers are rushing to judgment (helped by the unfortunate wording of the article) as there is no evidence linking these individuals to any theft including the one committed on the "neighbor".

The neighbors items were not recovered, and the items recovered wire not stolen property, but rather the property of Mr. Trout.
