Hi, I'm co-founder of BooRah, the company that's working with the Danville Weekly on the new online Restaurants section that just launched. I'm starting this thread get a dialog going on the new section -- what do you think? Is the new online restaurant guide better than what was there before? Do you like being able to see what other people are saying from across the web? Do you like being able to write reviews? Any other suggestions? Post them here...

I just had a chance to glance at it, but it looks great. I'll write again after I have used it for a review. It looks like a great opportunity to share with others when I've had a good experience and to critique individual dishes.

As a former resident of Alamo, I have seen a share of good restaurants come and go. WE likely have the best Chinese food served by Alamo Palace and equally great Italian, Thai, Mexican and Continental food served in very inviting surroundings.
Among a unique group of current and former Alamo residents that celebrate humor as The Alamo Towne Fool, a group of 60 or so, is the desire to have a gathering place as a watering hole that will accommodate a crowd. We imagine @ODDs, a Saloon for Fools, but realize that no such facility of the needed size exists.
Thus, we adjourn to the Duck Club at the Lafayette Park Hotel, but still long for our own saloon in Alamo.
Who will step forward and fill this pressing need?

Hi, I like the restraunt section and will hopefully be getting more of my reviews for various restraunts across Danville on there, but I have one suggestion. Allow us to use the return key and make paragraphs, nothing is more uninviting than a block of text. Thanks,
