it seems mr baily has a problem with the supervisor i wonder what it is that went against his wishes? where has it been said these members of the police comission have life time appointments

Let’s be sure your readers understand the purpose of regional (resident) counsel commentary I posted as a courtesy for your readers’ review. The questions for your readers’ consideration are:

1. What is the role of CCC-BOS’ Public Protection Committee? How does it protect the public? What is its scope of consideration?

2. How should CCC-BOS’ appointment process reflect the will and interests of the people served by various boards, commissions, committees, councils and taskforces?

3. Why have supervisors and their staff claimed harassment when neighborhood, business district and community groups’ representative request public release of information and public comment on issues?

4. What is CCC-BOS’ requirement for sufficient public notice of meetings and how should such meetings, and their agendas, be announced to insure that the public is informed?

Hal, if you have some way of knowing that the PPC is planning to hold an "unannounced" meeting then you should share your source with us.
