Dear neighbors,

There is a new CD by Ms. Emma Rossum, the young star of the movie, Phantom of the Opera. It is fusion jazz, light opera and contempory pop all combined in the young lady's beautiful voice and rich orchestration.

If you are a fan of KKSF Smooth Jazz then you will like these very unique performances.

Dear Alamo neighbors,

You will find Emmy Rossum, Inside Out, at most major retailers including Wal-Mart here in Alamo. If you would like a sample of the music, log on to www.emmyrossum.com (geffen.com) and listen to my favorite, Rainy Days and Mondays.

Also, to listen to KKSF on-line, www.kksf.com/listenlive.html. You can hear KKSF playing most afternoons at city hall and all day in the reception rooms of our library. It seems our city webmaster is a fan.

Kate, (in Alamo Texas)

Thank you Alamo neighbors for continuing our conversations,

I have a private recording, made in England, of Emmy Rossum singing several popular European hits including the Power of Love made popular in North America by Celine Deon. Michael Crawford also recorded the song, but my favorite is Nana Mouskouri's version.

The young, rich voice of Emmy adds to a unique voicing of the song and the comtemporary orchestration makes the song very today. I understand Celine and others have copyright claims so don't expect to see the song on a CD or in KKSF play soon.

My heart is still in Alamo IN although I now live in the Greater Chicago area. I appreciate being part of All things Alamo and Pop(u)lar.

Thank you Alamo & Poplar neighbors,

Your further information about Emmy Rossum and recommendations of more CDs and music downloads added to my library of music.

All things Alamo & Pop(u)lar e-chain is moving on to a new subject, California Gaming Industry, its environmental, political and economic impact on California and its counties, cities, communities and neighborhoods. We appreciate the opinions and background provided by Poplar MT and Alamo NM as communities within Native American Indian Reservations.

Other questions being circulated:

#1 - Is Hillary Clinton running against Oprah for the women's vote?

#2 - What is your favorite chicken salad recipe?

#3 - The last State of the ONION (Union) Address, will Bush deliver

his "usual" without Karl Rove?

#4 - Does the Republican Party deserve voters' trust after the past seven years?

For Town Square Forum readers, our e-chain will post messages that provide informational point of view or references for your further research and commentary.

Is there any way for me to hear that recording of Rossum singing the European hits?
