SRVHS "Shakespeare" a true gem!
Schools & Kids, posted by Terry, a resident of the Danville neighborhood, on Sep 18, 2010 at 3:25 pm

My family had the pleasure of attending a most amazing comedy: "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare - Abridged" last night at SRVHS - what a treat! As a Shakespeare dimwit, I was skeptical that I would be able to keep up, much less ENJOY the performance. This was one of the best theatrical performances I have ever seen (and I have been a theater buff for over 30 years), hands down! The entire audience laughed so hard and so often that the actors had to wait to resume their lines several times! The cast and crew so deserved the standing ovation they received. I'm going back tonight with a neighbor, and I'll probably return next weekend as well - I highly recommend this production!

Thanks for the review Terry! My daughter is a freshman and I went to see this with her on Saturday - it was hysterical! Unlike you I'm not a big theater buff, but we both laughed our heads off during this show. We're going back for the matinee on Saturday and I'm sure we'll be regulars at the upcoming productions as well.

Thanks for pointing us in this direction!
