Another new years, please State, National, International, posted by Ralph N. Shirlet, a resident of another community, on Jun 6, 2010 at 6:50 am Ralph N. Shirlet is a member (registered user) of Danville Express
Dear Emily,
Starting around Labor Day and continuing to April Fools Day, our world has many New Years Day(s) celebrations. We have Yule Tide, which is often attached to religious celebration, at Winter Solstice. We have a New Years Day that is mostly attached to football.
So why note have a New Years Day attached to Summer Solstice?

Ralph.....okay, we are done with you...no fence, but can you please check out comic book conventions, or "Star Trek" gatherings.....not to be rude but your dithering tripe is not of interest to most of us...to your Mom perhaps...and maybe I am alone....

Dear Dolores,
Emily now has name recognition and acceptance among the pseudonyms of the EXPRESS Forum who comfortably display their political prejudice and defamation without you as editor. Neighborhoods have once again delivered important issues to the consideration of your readers and continue focus on direct actions with governments impacting our region.
There is nothing left for our humorists to do so Ralph will return to his invisible storybook laughing as we go. We will look forward with hope that Emily can employ her journalism beyond publication of press releases and she will voice in-depth review of issues for our corridor.
In a parting thought, Diablo Views needs to continue as your exceptional view point for our region. Together, Emily and you might create the Diablo Views that made each Friday very special during the initial excellence of The Danville Weekly.

Dear Dolores and Emily,
As neighborhoods, in their shared humor, created pseudonyms-in-common to illustrate their positions, present their studied references and define fringe commentary on this Town Square Forum, they were hoping to focus commentary in the absence of guidance by EMC East Bay publishers and Forum Terms of Use. It is recognized that Emily West, as EMC on-line editor has sufficient background and, now, community recognition to perform such focusing of commentary beyond political and social prejudice, personal defamation and fringe ignorance.
Thus, like other pseudonyms such as Forest Warn, Oxymo Ron and Spike Marvel, Ralph N. Shirlet simply illustrated such need for editorial control and commentator responsibility. It is now Emily's responsibility to participate by focusing commentary on rational, respectful presentation.
