Ever feel like you can relate to someone who was in your position 60 years ago? I recently met the son of the founding editor of the old Valley Pioneer, Beverlee Holly, and she sounds like someone I would have liked.

Enjoyed very much Ms. Ciardelli's piece on my good friend, Ernie Holly and his mom from way back when. Reading excerpts from her diary brought back memories of a simpler time and made me a bit nostalgic - uh oh! Sign of old age. Only wish there'd been a picture accompanying. Thanks.
