Moms pool resources to raise money for Haiti

Following the earthquake that devastated Haiti, three Danville moms decided to do something about it. One yard sale turned into the purchase of four Shelter Boxes to help the Haitian people keep warm, have cover and be self sufficient.

It's great to see someone modeling good citizenry for Danville kids and actually encouraging them to think about others less fortunate before themselves. There was an article in the NY Times about a month ago that said relief agencies are turning away from using tents, which only hold up for about 1 month in Haiti. You might want to check out other charities.
