Joan Hamblin is the leader of the “The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints” She served as an elder missionary along with her husband in Guatemala back in 2000. Joan donated for prop 8 against gay marriage, she took the rights of people and children who are born in gay couples homes. Some gay couples adopt children from Guatemala. Guatemala is a country full of corruption and where the Mormon Church is seeking increasing membership for the joy book.

I'm for anyone helping people in developing countries. If you don't like this gal's political or religious views, then please feel free to go overseas yourself and do some good for someone less fortunate than you. If you choose not to do that, then who are you to get on a high horse about morality?
