All,

I was involved in a hit and run on Tuesday Feb 2 near the Starbucks off Rail Road Avenue. The suspects were driving a late model 2002-2005 black Ford Thunderbird.

They darted out of the Chevron parking lot heading north bound and entered my lane hitting me head on. They somehow managed to drive the vehicle away, barely. My vehicle was damaged and I could not chase after them. A couple of good citizens tried to find them however, a license plate was not obtained.

I have reached out to every dealer, and auto repair shop in the area. I have also contacted every online parts dealer and been checking Craig’s list. The Danville Police are looking into this, but I need the help of the people here in Danville/Alamo.

The car is damaged in the driver's side front needing a bumper, headlight, fender, and wheel. It is a rare retro style car.

If anyone has seen it or knows something please contact the Danville Police at (925) 314-3700 case # 10-2092.

Thanks,

Corey

Corey , get over it, You were most likely drinking as were they, and who cant see a license plate, sounds like a big story to me.

Wow Barnaby, that's exactly what happened. I guess that's why the three (3) responding officers I spoke with did not smell alcohol on my breath, but wanted to perform a field sobriety test at 7:30PM that night; however, even drove around looking for him based on a false claim.

This forum is not for people like you who add nothing to the situation. Why would you assume I would be drinking when you weren't there that night? Did you speak to the witnesses who saw them joyriding and tried to chase after them after they saw what happened.

Also, why would someone go through lengths to post such fiction?

Don't be so rude and judgmental.

Actually, I assumed Barnaby was the hit and run driver. Why else would he be so supportive of the criminal. For those who have forgotten, the law is simple, you hit someone and you stop. It is not complicated. It would not even need to be a law if we could count on simple decency in how people behave. You should care if you hurt someone.

Becky that was my thought too. Maybe Barnaby was in fact, the person who hit and ran.

That thought crossed my mind yesterday after I saw his post. Only a guilty person would write something like that.

Yeah it's a shame that I did the right thing to avoid and accident and the at fault party drove away. Accountability is something few and far between these days. Now I am left holding the bag.

I will catch these guys sooner or later. They will make another mistake.

Barnaby -

You should be ashamed of yourself for posting a fake ad on Fogster and heckling me on this forum. I've spent hours tracking these guys down and you interfere with my investigation.

You're a COWARD and I feel sorry for you. Sadly, you're a father I am sure with kids maybe my age. Nice example setting.

It's people like you who make this world a bad place buddy.
