Rising to the occasion

Danville resident Chris Hopkins rode his unicycle to the peak of Mount Diablo on Tuesday to raise money for the Limbs for Life Foundation. Approximately 50 people attended the event. He cycled plus juggled for the first mile-and-a-half of the ride, then juggled again when he reached the top. He hosted the event after collecting pledges to raise money to buy prosthetics for children, who need to replace them often as they grow. He hopes it will become an annual event.
