I went to Dallas Monday 12/28 and returned yesterday (Weds 12/30) through SFO. Nothing really different. Same security screening lines. The "no getting out of your seat" an hour before landing was NOT in effect(wasn't the guy sitting when he lit up his pants?)and I believe it's for international flights only. Now really, will a 1 hour timeout in your seat help? If somebody is going to try something again, they know the rules. Duh. Better screening and use a satellite to find the Yemen terrorist camp. I say drop a little US military ordinance in their pants before they get onboard is what it will take to stop these clowns. Oh and Happy New Year.
