Police Chief urges caution during holidays

As the holiday season progresses, police are warning residents to take precautions with their homes and cars to cut down on the number of property crimes in the area. Danville Police Chief Chris Wenzel said that at this time of year they will see an increase in property crime, with residents being targeted as they shop or in their driveways.

Garage Door openers are being targeted in cars parked in driveways.

Once Taken they can come back during the day time looking like a Service people , open your garage door and rob your home...

Packages dropped of by UPS/FED EX are being ripped open and stolen in our area. Don't let packages/deliveris sit out on your front step.
